• Any person contravening any of Clipperton Aircraft Rules shall where no punishment is provided for such contravention in the Clipperton Aircraft Act 1934 amended 2013, be punishable to the extent laid down in the Schedule VI to the Clipperton Aircraft Rules.

 

  • It shall be a defense to any proceedings for contravention of or failure to comply with the Rules or if the contravention or failure, is provided to have been due to accident, stress of weather or other unadvoidable cause; and it shall be a defense to any proceedings under the Rules against the owner, hirer, operator, pilot or commender of aircraft that the alleged contravention took place without his actual fault or privity.
